The wedding 2

After the wedding of corse there was a wedding party. It was a very long, so long that I didn’t even stay there for the hole thing. It was pretty fun actually, with music, singing, karaoke, but best of all, sumo wrestling! I know what your are all thinking but non of us were that fat! We were wearing big fat sumo suits. It was mostly for adults but I actually did it too, unfortunately I lost. Here is a pictures of the fight:

The wedding 1

Today’s event was the reason why I came to Poland . It was the wedding of my dad’s sister and for the past few days we were getting ready for the wedding party. We were going to the wedding in an old but still cool cadillac limo. Well, your probably all jealous so be that way!!! It had its own old fashioned TV along with drinks and your own radio. When we got there, there was a big crowd of people waiting for the wedding to begin (it was held indoor). The ceremony was mostly signing papers and repeating phrases and a little kissing, over all it went well. Also there are three weird traditions that I would like to explain. First, the people who got married get showered with rice and money when they are leaving the church, second, people honk their horns when they see them in the limo, and last, people put barriers and the people who got married have to pay them money to get past.

Today I went on a train to get to my final but not last destination, my dad’s sister, otherwise the person who is getting married. Amazingly the train ride was really long but it was not boring at all, that was because I am stalked up with homework, and I read a little bit. We were riding first class, clearly superior to the other classes. It had nice, big, reclining chairs, also we had our own room so it wasn’t so loud and crowded, and it had huge windows so we could see the countryside. On the weird side, first class had bathrooms, but guess what there was no tank to hold all the you know what in, it just had a hole to the ground! Its like the stone age, but in first class. What if a rock flung up there and..... well, you know.

Here are some pictures from the train ride:

It was a

nice day in Gdansk, Poland and we were walking around, visiting stores, and looking at landmarks, taking pictures, you know that kind of stuff. But guess what came sailing along to help drive sprits up, non other than the Black Perl, your probably thinking or the pirates of the Caribbean well its sort of different, its more like the pirates of Poland......... Ta ta ting..... I guess thats not funny. But it was a replica of the Black Perl. It had sails but instead of using them It used motors.

Here are some pictures of it

We got of the plane and boy did my stomach hurt. We just arrived in Munich, Germany and people at the desk redirected us to the wrong gate and we missed our connecting flight. So it was a three hour wait to catch the next flight. We took a little, well, a long nap and right when the the plane was boarding, ‘’Michal! Michal get up!'' my dad said ‘’Why?’’ I said. ‘’We will explain later.’’ So I stood next to a person, so did my parents, and his bodyguard took our picture.

Now I am going to ask you a question, who is this mysterious person?

Whoever finds out first who it is gets a special polish present

Also I will give some hints,... what? did you expect me to tell you to find it out yourself?

Here are the hints:

He was a famous polish politician

He was a recipient of the Nobel Prize

He was a co creator of a Solidarity union in Poland 1978/1980

Here is a picture that might help you (above)

These plane rides have been the worst in my life there were so many delays.

At least on the good side..... well, there is no good side. And also through these turn of events I felt sick, not from the scariness of flying 600 mph 35,000 feet in the air no, it

was my stomach, it was upset, and boy did I have a hard time... it was crazy.

Here, I have some amazing pictures from the air:

I'm in the airport!

I have finally got into the airport and i am departing in an hour or so. And guess what! Our plane got delayed, if it hadn't been delayed i would be on the plane already. So overall it went well.

We are flying Lufthansa from Boston to Munich, Germany. Then from there to Gdansk, Poland.

Oh yeah, my dog Gizmo, you all know him, he went to a doggie daycare in Greene, my dad calls it a prison..... for dogs.
